Memberships & plans
Which membership is right for me?
Individual Digital suits independent design professionals who want every new report as it is published, together with the full archive, Color Guides, special reports and video walkthroughs. Individual Digital & Print adds a printed copy of each quarterly report.
Studio Digital and Studio Digital & Print are designed for teams of up to eight people and include internal team use rights. Starter is our most accessible plan for students, freelancers and emerging designers, and Enterprise offers custom licensing for larger organizations.

How much do the memberships cost?
Starter is $20 per month or $199 per year. Individual Digital is $99 per quarter, Individual Digital & Print is $149 per quarter, Studio Digital is $275 per quarter, Studio Digital & Print is $450 per quarter, and the Print Subscription is $125 per quarter. Enterprise pricing is tailored to each organization.
Do you offer a free trial?
We do not offer a free trial. The simplest way to experience The Textile Eye is the monthly Starter plan, which may be cancelled at any time: Join Starter (monthly).
Is there a discount for paying annually?
An annual option is available on the Starter plan only, at $199 per year in place of $20 per month. All other memberships are billed quarterly.
Do you offer discounts for students or freelancers?
Our Starter plan has been designed for students, freelancers and emerging designers, offering access to the previous quarter’s report and our reports older than three years at a modest monthly cost.
Can I purchase a membership as a gift?
Yes. Please email us at info@thetextileeye.com and we will arrange a gift membership for you.
Can I upgrade my membership later?
Yes, you may upgrade your membership at any time, including from Starter to Individual Digital, or from an Individual plan to a Studio plan.
Do you create bespoke trend, show or colour reports?
Yes. Customized show, trend and colour reports are available for your business, and subscriptions can be tailored to your needs. Please contact us at info@thetextileeye.com to discuss your requirements.
What does the free membership include?
Free members receive The Textile Eye newsletter and access to selected archived content, including Year in Color six months after publication.
Starter Subscription
Which reports can I access with Starter?
Starter includes the previous quarter’s report, in flipbook and PDF, together with our reports older than three years. Year in Color becomes available three months after publication.
What happens to my access when a new report is published?
Access to the previous quarter’s report moves with our publishing schedule. Each time a new quarterly report is released, Starter members gain access to the report it replaces, and access to the report before that ends.
For example, when Report 30 is published, Starter members can access Report 29, and Report 28 is no longer available to them.
What is not included in Starter?
Starter does not include the current quarterly report, reports from the past one to three years (other than the previous quarter’s), special reports, Color Guides, ASE files or video walkthroughs. These are included from Individual Digital upwards.
What is the difference between the monthly and yearly Starter options?
Both options provide the same access. The yearly option, at $199, offers a lower overall price, while the monthly option, at $20 per month, may be cancelled on a monthly basis.
Can I upgrade from Starter to Individual Digital?
Yes, you may upgrade at any time to gain immediate access to the current report, the full archive and all resources.

When are new reports published?
The Textile Eye publishes a new trend report each quarter. [Confirm: typical publication months]
How far back does the archive go?
Our archive extends back to Spring 2019. Full archive access is included from Individual Digital upwards.
In what formats are reports available?
Reports are available as an online flipbook and, depending on your membership, as a downloadable PDF.
What is a special report?

What is included in the Color Guides?
Each Color Guide is a PDF with HEX codes and Pantone references, accompanied by ASE files for use in your design software. Color Guides are included from Individual Digital upwards.
What are the video walkthroughs?
Our colour and themes video walkthroughs guide you through each report’s key palettes and themes. They are included from Individual Digital upwards.
Do I keep access to reports if my membership ends?
If you cancel your membership, your online access ends. However, any reports you have downloaded to your own drive remain yours to keep.
Can I use the reports in client presentations?
Yes. You are welcome to use short excerpts from the reports as inspiration in your client presentations.
Sharing reports with colleagues requires internal team use rights, which are included in Studio memberships only. If you require external use rights, please contact us at info@thetextileeye.com.
Print editions & delivery
Can I subscribe to the print edition only?
Yes. The Print Subscription, at $125 per quarter, includes one printed copy of each quarterly report, together with access to our reports older than three years.
When will my printed copy arrive?
Printed copies of each quarterly report are dispatched two to three weeks after the digital publication date.
Do you deliver internationally?
Yes. International print delivery is available for an additional $25 per quarter on Individual Digital & Print and the Print Subscription, and $35 per quarter on Studio Digital & Print.
My printed copy has not arrived or is damaged. What should I do?

How do I change my delivery address?

Can I order printed back issues?

Studios & Enterprise
How many people can use a Studio membership?
Studio Digital and Studio Digital & Print provide access for up to eight users, with internal team use rights.
What do internal team use rights mean?

Can I change the users on a Studio membership?

Account & billing
How do I log in to my account?
Select Log In/Join Now at the top of any page and sign in with the email address used for your membership.
I have forgotten my password. What should I do?
Select Log In/Join Now, then choose the option to reset your password. A reset link will be sent to your email address.
Will my membership renew automatically?
Yes. Memberships renew automatically, and you will receive an email reminder before each renewal.
In which currency are prices shown, and do they include tax?
All prices are in US dollars (USD) and include tax.
Will I receive a tax invoice?
You will receive a receipt for each payment, which may be used for tax purposes.
How do I cancel my membership?
